Objective 1

To strengthen women and female youth engagement in sustainable community empowerment initiatives for long term poverty reduction among households through Participatory Integrated Community Development (PICD) and Community Conversations(CC)

Specific objectives

One
To promote the well-being of the girl child at all levels of society
Two
To mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDs scourge among the vulnerable population in Western Kenya region.
Three
To improve social enterprising among women groups , marginalized families for sustainable economic growth.

Objective 2

To builds the capacities of CBOs and self-help groups to enable them enhance the use of appropriate technologies in Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WATSAN) at household levels.

Specific objectives

One
Enhance campaigns on Water Sanitation and Hygiene among the residents along lake Victoria.
Two
To mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDs scourge among the vulnerable population in Western Kenya region.
Three
Promote community dialogues among communities regardless of age, ethnic origin, ability, sex, belief or political affiliation, recognizing the value of our diversity .

Objective 3

To establish partnership linkage collaboration and networking with relevant stakeholders in order to improve livelihoods of under-served communities

>>Training Trainers of Trainers on community conversations
>>Distribution of Exam materials to 200 boys and girls and 1000 reusable sanitary towels to girls
>>Successfully implemented village savings scheme in one village
>>Trained 50 women living with HIV/AIDS on food security and nutrition, kitchen gardening and agroforestry
>>Over 200 women inmates trained in menstrual management and hygiene
>>Constructed 12 ISSB water Tanks and installed 6 Bio sand filters in school and 3 double composting VIP latrines trained over 250 women on soap-making and entrepreneurial skills and 48 women masons.
